Could just be me, but I have not had this issue with any other shoes/boots. The waterproofing works, so no complaints, but when they did get wet from a long walk in the rain they smelt so bad I had to keep them outside. You can't wash these and now after 5 wears have not used them since. These are worse than a pair of rugby boots at the end of two
