The Vector Optics Tauron 4-16x44 HD is engineered for medium-range precision, delivering stable optical clarity through its fully multi-coated lens system and a reinforced mechanical platform designed for consistent, repeatable and reliable shot execution in demanding hunting and precision shooting environments. The 44 mm objective lens combined with premium multi-coated glass ensures solid light transmission, controlled chromatic aberration and dependable clarity across the entire 4-16x magnification range. Constructed from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum, the scope features fully multi-coated lenses that enhance contrast, reduce glare and improve target definition at both medium and extended distances. The reinforced 34 mm nitrogen-purged monotube provides structural rigidity and supports a wide internal adjustment range, offering precise 0.1 MIL click values ideal for fine medium-range corrections and rapid adjustments during dynamic shooting sessions. The etched IR FFP VTA-3 MIL reticle is designed for fast, intuitive precision targeting, offering a clean layout with refined subtensions, holdover references and wind grids optimized for accurate target acquisition and efficient shot correction at any magnification. The elevation turret includes a mechanical zero-stop system for instant and repeatable return-to-zero, while the side-focus and illumination controls support both medium-range sight-in work and low-light hunting scenarios, with IR illumination enhancing reticle visibility in challenging light conditions. With generous eye relief and a precision-focused design, the 4-16x44 HD MIL FFP is ideal for shooters demanding optical quality, versatility, and reliability in medium-range precision shooting. Included accessories: Medium Picatinny mounts, bikini-style lens caps, sunshade, cleaning cloth and tools. Medium-Range Precision / Technical Shooting and Demanding Hunting Modern precision shooting and hunting disciplines originate from practical field use. Given the complexity and challenge of these environments, the optics used must excel in every aspect to meet high performance demands. This optic is suited for precise shooting, including PRS-style competitions. Technical hunting and medium-range shooting require optics capable of maintaining clarity, stability and reliable mechanical performance in demanding conditions and rapidly changing light environments. The 4-16x44 HD MIL FFP provides the magnification range, optical resolution, and mechanical consistency required for confident medium-range shots. VTA-3 MIL RETICLE DESIGN FEATURES The VTA-3 MIL reticle is optimized for practical precision shooting and technical hunting, offering a clean and uncluttered layout with straightforward MIL markings for reliable elevation and windage reference. INTUITIVE CENTER AIMING POINT An illuminated center aiming point provides a precise reference for accurate shot placement, improving visibility in low-light conditions and supporting consistent aiming at any magnification. SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE MIL SUBTENSIONS The reticle features evenly spaced MIL hash marks along the vertical and horizontal axes, allowing shooters to apply holdovers and windage corrections without visual clutter. CLEAR FIELD OF VIEW The minimalist line structure maintains a wide and unobstructed sight picture, ensuring fast target acquisition and smooth tracking of moving targets.
